At DMS, we are honoured to have embarked on a transformative journey alongside long-term client, Pharmacare Laboratories, one of Australia’s leading health and wellness businesses.
Pharmacare has been collaborating with DMS, and Demand Solutions, since 2013. Their commitment to innovation and customer-centricity aligns with DMSโ own core principles, making this collaboration a true testament to the continued partnership.
The journey to date stands as a testament to Pharmacareโs collective dedication towards operational excellence and staying at the forefront of industry innovation.
Before the commencement of this project Pharmacare took the opportunity to re-canvas, and assess, the Supply Chain Technology market.
This was seen as a critical piece of due diligence, confirming that after a decade together in their journey with Logility, Demand Solutions would still be considered the best fit, both from a technology & process perspective for the organisation. ย
The objectives set forth by Pharmacare in assessing multiple solutions were clear โฆ
- To enhance forecasting accuracy
- Foster greater collaboration and enable data-driven decision-making across their expansive operations.
- Increase efficiencies via exception managed planning.
- View forecasting and planning data at multiple aggregated levels.
- Integrate the Supply Planning function into the software, to enable multiple orders consolidated at different levels and achieving vendor and production minimums.
After a thorough assessment process Logility SaaS was selected, and the project kicked off in July 2023. Fast forward to April 2024, using the capabilities of Logility SaaS, Pharmacare is able to leverage greater visibility of their supply chain and derive actionable insights for strategic decision-making.
The Logility SaaS deployment gives Pharmacare the agility to adapt to dynamic market conditions, enabling swift and informed responses to changing demand patterns.
From the supply replenishment perspective, Logility SaaS supports optimised inventory levels, streamlined procurement processes, operational efficiency and enhanced customer satisfaction.
As we reflect on this implementation, we extend our gratitude to the entire Pharmacare team for their unwavering commitment and partnership throughout this journey.
