Demand Solutions™ simulates a forecast of the past to determine which of its 20 formulas will best predict each item’s future demand. The formulas include a comprehensive set of long- and short-range algorithms, growth factors and automatic seasonal adjustments. They are easy to understand and quite effective.
A variety of tools are available to review, make adjustments, create aggregate records, add notes to track assumptions and create production and/or purchase plans to meet your inventory and sales objectives. Other functions such as ABC Analysis, calculation of safety stock and safety time, and forecast accuracy reports can be facilitated in this module.
