Demand Solutions™ Rough Cut has been released as a critical capacity planning tool.

DS RC will eliminate the unknown by analysing and validating production planning data. Utilising forecast information and requirement planning data, DS RC will evaluate resource capacity at various levels of detail to produce accurate, timely and executable production plans.

This tool will help production planners review load factors allowing appropriate corrective actions to manipulate capacity over-loads and under-loads.

Functionality including “What-if” trial simulation, printable graphs and reporting are key elements in this tool. Capacity loading can be viewed in daily, weekly or monthly time buckets. Over-capacity and under-capacity conditions, or released and firm planned orders can be easily identified.

Reports and Graphs

When more detail is required, DS RC can print a variety of reports and graphs:

Each report can be customised by the user by specifying ranges of dates, part numbers, planner codes, families, resources etc. The user can also choose to include any combination of released, firm planned or computer planned orders to drive the load.

All reports can be previewed, edited for content, and pertinent information can be denoted and highlighted prior to printing to a network or locally ported printer.
